Joselyne Mucunguzi Izere

Joselyne Mucunguzi Izere, a feminist activist and YALI Regional Leadership Centre alumni, has over 5 years of experience advocating for girls and women's rights with focuses on improving girls and women’s lives. She is a poet and winner of the Choose to Challenge Junior competition. Joselyne is the coordinator of Rwanda Girls Get Equal network, aiming for meaningful participation in decision-making spaces. She has spoken at prestigious events, including the Women Deliver conference 2023. Joselyne strives to ensure voices of girls and women are heard for a more equitable society.
