Growing up in a conflicting unstable family, Venansiya did not get a chance to attend school as other children. Starting her primary school late, she could not afford tuition and scholastic materials which resulted in school drop out. Venansiya had to learn to survive on her own, hence she became a maid at a very young age. At age of 17, she got pregnant and her world fell apart. As a teen mother, raising her child alone, without a single person to rely on, her mental state became unstable. Fortunately, Venansiya joined Tekana Hub where she not only got tailoring skills but also psycho-social support which brought back hope for the future.
