1. INTRODUCTION
Impanuro Girls Initiative (IGI) is a young women led Rwandan non-governmental organization
striving to improve Women and girls lives in all their diversities through education, capacity building,
counseling, socio-economic empowerment and advocacy to ensure a healthy and dignified lifestyle. It
was founded in 2017, with the aim to address the teenage pregnancy issues as a result of poor or no
access to Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) information and services among others.
Impanuro Girls Initiative (IGI), with office in Kigali, Rwanda, is updating its supplier’s roster and
hereby invites expression of interest (EOI) from prospective suppliers. It will establish a roster (list)
of suppliers who meet the criteria set out at point number 3. Each time a specific tender is to be
concluded; IGI will invite all shortlisted vendors on the roster of the relevant categories to submit a
tender.
2. LIST OF GOODS
Category 1: Manual sewing machines
Category 2: Industrial (Single needle) sewing machines
Category 3: Embroidery sewing machines
Category 4: Buttonhole sewing machine

3. CRITERIA FOR INCLUSION ON THE CATEGORIES OF GOODS
The interested company should forward their expression of interest (EOI) to IGI by electronic mail
(E-mail), info@impanuro.org as indicated here. To be deemed eligible for the pre-qualification
process, companies are required to submit all the below listed documents within the EOI not later on
the below-mentioned date, these documents shall be the criteria for inclusion and exclusion from the
vendor list.
- A cover letter introducing the prospective suppliers and a brief business profile
- Certificate of Registration / Incorporation, Memorandum of Association and Articles of
Association, (RDB Certificate).

- Letters of recommendation from at least three reputable public institutions
/organizations/agencies,
Expressions of interest must be clearly marked: “Expression of Interest No PROC 005/05/2023”
and should be sent to info@impanuro.org along with supporting documents not later than 3
rd June
2023 at 10:00 AM GMT. No expression of interest will be received/entertained after the mentioned
closing date and time. This exercise may include an interview with the applicant, inspection of applicants’ office/premises,
facilities, and any other items of interest to IGI.

4. DISQUALIFICATIONS
● Bidder did not attach one of required bidding document
● Bidder did not meet the deadline time for submission of bidding
● Conflict of Interest / Non Collusion
5. AWARD PROCEDURE
IGI’s Procurement Committee will review the Potential suppliers and their EOIs to determine, in
accordance with the Award Criteria, whether they will award the contract to any one of them.
6. INFORMATION AND RECORD KEEPING
IGI shall consider any reasonable request from any unsuccessful potential supplier for feedback on its bid
and, where it is appropriate and proportionate to do so, provide the unsuccessful potential supplier with
reasons why the bid was rejected. Where applicable, this information shall be provided within 30 business
days from (but not including) the date on which IGI receives the request.
