Impanuro Girls Initiative is delighted to announce the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS) as its official 501c3 fiscal sponsor, joining the Foundation’s community of over 600 partners across the world.
Since 2002, the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS) has served as a vital bridge between American donors and foreign nonprofit organizations, facilitating thoughtful and impactful tax deductible philanthropic giving on the African continent and globally.
The partnership gives us the opportunity to have a “Friends of Impanuro Girls Initiative” fund at KBFUS to sustain tax-deductible gifts from U.S. donors and simultaneously take advantage of KBFUS’ support of handling all back-office administration, including tax receipts and donor support.
For the past five years, Impanuro Girls Initiative has been incessantly empowering Rwandan women and girls while promoting easy and reliable access to sexual reproductive health services. The new partnership is an outstanding milestone which will play a critical role in the organization’s development journey as we strive to expand our impact in Rwanda and contribute to sustainable gender equity in the country.
“Impanuro Girls Initiative strives to make a lasting difference in communities. We have always aimed to generate funds to support our activities and this partnership will serve as a stepping stone towards achieving that objective. We are grateful for the King Baudouin Foundation United States and the incredible support we receive from our partners, donors, and friends. We look forward to making the most of the opportunities this partnership brings,” said Marie Ange Raissa Uwamungu, Founder and Executive Director, Impanuro Girls Initiative.
“KBFUS is committed to supporting impactful locally-led initiatives and we are excited that Impanuro Girls Initiative joins an impactful list of KBFUS’ partner organizations leading sustainable change at the grassroots,” said Kady Sylla , Senior Advisor – Africa, King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS).
